Meet our Committee Members
The Anglo Peruvian Society is led by a dedicated team of professionals and volunteers passionate about fostering cultural ties and making a positive impact. Here are the individuals who make it all happen:
Chair
Zory Radnay-Florian
With a deep passion for the Anglo Peruvian Society’s mission, Zory provides oversight to ensure the organisation achieves its goals, working closely with executive committee members to foster relationships with donors, stakeholders, and the wider community. Outside of the Society, she manages her own luxury travel business. Zory holds a BA in Communications from La Plata University (Argentina), an MA in Corporate Communications from UCES (Argentina), and has completed management studies at the University of Surrey (UK) and Cornell University (USA).
Dr John Hemming
Dr John Hemming, CMG, was chairman of the Anglo-Peruvian Society from 1996 to 2006 and has been on its committee ever since. He has lectured to the Society four or five times. He knows every part of Peru, on many travels and visits. His books about Peru include The Conquest of the Incas,Monuments of the Incas, Machu Picchu and The Search for El Dorado. His writings about and work for Peru have earned him: Gran Oficial of the Orden El Sol del Perú, Gran Cruz of the Orden al Mérito, a special award from the Instituto Nacional de Cultura, the President's Medal of The British Academy, a D.Litt. doctorate from Oxford University, and Honorary Doctorates from the Pontifícia Universidad Católiica del Perú and the University of Warwick (in addition to various medals, awards and doctorates, from other entities for other work).
Treasurer
María José Kong
As the guardian of our financial resources, our Treasurer oversees budgeting, record-keeping, and compliance to ensure the Society’s finances are managed responsibly. By providing clear reporting and financial insight, María Jose plays a vital role in supporting the Society’s work and long-term sustainability. She also serves as Head of Trade – Americas at the Scotch Whisky Association, holds a BSc in Economics from Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, an LLB from Universidad Privada del Norte, and an MSc in Regulation from the London School of Economics.
Membership Manager
Isabel Becerra-Foster
Isabel champions our membership community, ensuring members are valued, informed and engaged. From onboarding new members to managing the membership database, she helps the Society grow its vibrant network.
Outside of the Society, Isabel is an International Tax (Transfer Pricing) Consultant, with experience in transfer pricing, economics, finance and project management. She holds a MSc in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics and a BSc (and Peruvian Licenciatura) in Economics from Universidad del Pacifico (Lima). Isabel joined the Anglo Peruvian Society as a Student member in 1999 and has been part of the Executive Committee since 2023.

Paola Budgen
Bringing Anglo-Peruvian culture to life, Paola organizes a wide array of activities, from cultural events to networking evenings. Her creativity and dedication ensures every gathering is memorable.
Charities Manager
Belinda Gallop-Iliffe
Belinda is the driving force behind our charitable work, ensuring that our support reaches the people and communities who need it most. She oversees fundraising efforts, builds relationships with local and international organisations, and guides our charitable partnerships with insight and compassion.
Before joining us, Belinda built a rich and varied creative career. From translating to working in Haute Couture with Norman Hartnell and in graphic design at Pentagram. She then trained as a jewellery designer and maker, with her work sold globally through Paul Smith. Belinda enjoys goldsmithing, photography, international travel, world music, discovering new cultures, and spending time with her wonderfully international family.
Secretary
Lily Saunders
Lily has a background in adminstrative roles, she currently works as a lecturer and is a qualified therapist. She is proud of her Peruvian heritage and has been involved with the Anglo Peruvian Society since 2023. Lily keeps the Society running smoothly. She handles communications, meeting minutes, and maintain key records to ensure seamless operations. Outside of the Society, Lily practices as a private therapist and works with a well known organisation supporting clients. Additionally, she is a lecturer in Counselling and acts as Deputy for a academic counselling training organisation.
